Soft Wash…….the name says it all!
Soft washing is a term used to describe a safe, gentle approach to a well proven Roof Cleaning Method that has been used for more than 25 years. Soft Washing has even been lab tested by roofing manufacturers; In fact, Soft Washing is recommended by the Asphalt Roofing Manufacturers Association (ARMA).
Soft Washing is a cleaning process which utilizes low pressure (like the pressure from a garden hose) to deliver a customized cleaning solution, specially blended to meet the demands of each project. We use the power of proven chemistry and the chemistry is what makes our Soft Wash process so effective. Remember, the black stains on your roof are alive and simply can’t be washed away. This algae has a filament root system and it needs to be killed.
Different surfaces and different contaminants will require different levels of Soft Washing and different levels of chemistry. With each cleaning job we perform, our cleaning solution is custom blended on site then applied. We do not have a “one size fits all” approach to cleaning. We will customize a cleaning plan to maximize our effectiveness while also keeping our cost as low as possible!
Why you should NEVER pressure wash your roof!
Well, pressure washing many roof surfaces will
automatically VOID the manufacturers warranty.
Think about that high pressure hitting those
shingles and ripping the protective granules right off the roof. A pressure washer can do more damage, much faster, than the algae it’s removing.
